In the second round of the Intertoto Cup, Edinburgh, Vilnius, remained in the tournament and today in the first match of the third round will play against a club from Denmark. This is a historic meeting, as so far no Lithuanian club has been able to advance to the third round in European cup tournaments. Last season, "Esbjerg" finished third in the Danish championship, which was the club's highest achievement in the past decade. Last year, "Esbjerg" also participated in the UEFA Cup tournament, where in the second round they lost to a team from Moscow with an aggregate score of 1-3. Meanwhile, in this season's second round of the Intertoto Cup, "Esbjerg" defeated the French team after a dramatic battle. Today's match will take place at the new 3572-seat "Vėtra" stadium (formerly "Lokomotiv"), which is located near the Vilnius train station on Liepkalnio Street. The match starts at 18:00, ticket price is 10lt, entrance is free for individuals under 16 years old.
