The former giant returning to Serie A officially confirmed the acquisition of three players today - contracts were signed with the club by safeties Hidetoshi Nakata and Giannis Guigou, as well as goalkeeper Christian Lupatellis.
The 27-year-old Nakata, the most famous Japanese player, has already played for four Italian clubs in his career - , , and was loaned out to since January. Now facing financial problems, "Parma" agreed to sell the player, but the transfer fee has not been disclosed.
Uruguayan Guigou, like Italian Lupatellis, belonged to the "Roma" club, but struggled there. The 29-year-old safety was loaned out to last season, while the 26-year-old goalkeeper this year in Rome was the second goalkeeper after Ivano Pelizzoli.
