Thiago Motta was dropped from the lineup of the Catalan team for about three weeks due to injury.
The Brazilian player injured his left knee during yesterday's friendly match against "Figueres", which "Barca" won 2-1.
The 21-year-old footballer was carried off the field in the 4th minute of the match after colliding with "Figueres" player Oscar Ramirez.
Motta will have to undergo numerous tests in the near future, after which the exact time frame when the Brazilian will be unable to play will be determined.
The victory in that match was decided by a fantastic goal from Ronaldinho.
