In the Lithuanian Football "A-League" today, two matches of the 13th round were played. The debut for the Italian coaches was unsuccessful - Marijampolė's "Sūduva" lost at home by a minimal margin to Klaipėda's "Atlantas". In the Vilnius derby, "Žalgiris" was stronger and defeated "Vilnius" with a two-goal advantage.
One match of the round was played earlier, when Panevėžyjė's "Šilutė" unexpectedly defeated "Ekranas". The other round matches, in which "Kaunas" was supposed to play against "Vėtra", were postponed to a later time due to the clubs' participation in the European Cups.
