The football club "Atlantas" has been fined one and a half thousand litas. This decision was made by the Disciplinary Committee of the National Football Clubs Association (NFKA). The sanction was imposed for the invasion of "Atlantas" fans onto the field during the match between FK "Atlantas" and FC "Vilnius" on July 7.

Members of the Disciplinary Committee, after reviewing the official match protocol information, the inspector's report, and video footage, determined that the fans from Klaipėda did not resort to violence against the "Vilnius" players.

The fine for "Atlantas" was imposed for failing to ensure order and safety in the stadium. Additionally, the "Atlantas" club has been warned that in case of similar incidents in the future, stricter penalties may be applied, including match disqualification.

So far, the highest monetary fine (2000 litas) in this year's A League Championship has been paid only by the football club "Sūduva", when the assistant coach and substitute player from Marijampolė attacked the "educating" match referee with their fists.
