The former best young European footballer of 2001, who moved from "Sporting" to England for a hefty fee, could not adapt to the "Newcastle" club.
Reports from Portugal suggest that this player will be loaned to either Lisbon clubs. However, everything was determined by Viana's sale agreement with "Newcastle", which stated that "Sporting" club had priority over any other club in loaning this player.
The 21-year-old player says he is very happy to be able to return to "Sporting," and feels that he was not given the opportunity to prove himself by playing regularly in the "Newcastle" first team. He also added that he is unsure if he would like to return to England once his loan agreement ends.
