He agreed to the contract terms with defender Emiliano Moretti.
The 23-year-old Italian will have to undergo a medical examination and then sign a 5-year contract.
Valencia has not yet revealed the amount they will have to pay for Moretti, but it is estimated to be around 3 million euros.
Moretti, a former Italy U-21 player, became the fourth purchase of the Spanish league champions. The club has already signed Marco Di Vaio, Stefano Fiore, and Bernardo Corradi.
Moretti, who was loaned out last season, will be officially presented to Valencia fans on Thursday evening.
