Former striker Jurgen Klinsmann will become the new coach of the German national team.
"I am very happy that the German Football Association agreed to my terms," Klinsmann said to "Suddeutsche Zitung".
"The World Cup is the most important event for Germany in the last 40 years. I am pleased that I can contribute to it," added the former striker.
Klinsmann will replace former Germany national team coach Rudi Voller.
