As we announced earlier, goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi decided to stay at the Roma club and today signed a new contract.
The 34-year-old Italian was also interested this year by the "Cagliari" club, which recently entered the "Serie A", and trying to return to the elite of Italian football, however the long-time "Lazio" player decided to stay in the Roma team.
Peruzzi signed a two-year contract with the club, according to which he will receive 550 thousand euros per year - even 75% less than last season.
