European champion with the Greek national team will represent the team that finished 12th in the previous season of "Ligue 1" championship.
The 30-year-old footballer, who spent most of his career at the Athens club, signed a two-year contract with the French team. The amount of the contract is not publicly disclosed at the moment.
"I am very pleased that Mihalis Kapsis has joined our team," said Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaudas.
Kapsis himself is also pleased with the move and can't wait to meet his new teammates.
"It is a great honor for me to play for such a club," said the Greek national team defender. "There are many famous footballers among my teammates and I can't wait to meet them."
