The club has confirmed that they have acquired the famous former Spanish national team defender Fernando Hierro. The 36-year-old veteran has signed a one-year contract.
Recently, the defender played in Qatar. Before that, he represented a Madrid club and won four league titles, three Spanish Super Cups, three UEFA Champions League titles, and once became a winner of the Spanish Cup with them.
Hierro made his debut for the national team in 1989 and since then has played 89 matches for his homeland team. He has also participated in the World Cup final stages four times.
