Brazilian Emerson confirmed that he is moving from the team to another Italian club. It is said that "Juve" paid about 15 million euros for the 28-year-old midfielder.
Italian vice-champions "Roma" will use part of this money to attract him to the club.
"Now we have a good opportunity to buy Gilardino, but nothing is clear yet," said "Roma" president Franco Baldini, who is confident that they have a better chance to acquire the striker from "Parma" than "Juventus" and other clubs who are also interested in the young Italian.
"Parma" has not yet stated if they will sell Gilardino, but we have heard rumors that the player really wants to play for "Roma," Baldini continued.
"Juventus" also does not hide that they are interested in this footballer and are willing to compete with any offer from "Roma."
