Former Italian national team striker has decided to continue his player career and signed a one-year contract with the Greek club "Iraklis" in Thessaloniki. The player will have the option to extend the contract for another year after the season, but the financial terms of the contract are not disclosed.

"I am happy that the negotiations ended successfully. I can't wait to start this new experience, and I've heard that the fans in Greece are very warm and pleasant. I have a message for them: I will give you the opportunity to rejoice," said the 36-year-old veteran.

Signori began his professional career with the club "Foggia" in 1992, then moved to , three times won the title of the most productive player in "Serie A", was called up to the Italian national team, with which he finished second in the 1994 World Cup. In total, the player represented the national team 28 times and scored seven goals.

In 1998, he moved to , shortly afterwards to . He spent six years at this club, and this year announced that he was leaving the club because he "could no longer keep up with the pace of the Italian championship." It seemed that the player could end his career altogether or be lured by big money in Qatar, but he still agreed to move to the country of the newly crowned European champions.

Over 13 seasons in "Serie A," Signori played 344 matches and scored 188 goals, which is one of the best results of all time in this league.
