Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have to miss another season on the sidelines due to an ongoing right knee injury.
Last season, Solskjaer was constantly plagued by injuries and therefore did not play a significant role in tactical schemes. After yesterday's examinations, it seems that the Norwegian will have to miss the entire upcoming season, which according to his contract will be the last.
"Yesterday in Gothenburg, a knee arthroscopy was performed, after which it was revealed that the player's right knee joint cartilage was severely damaged. He will now continue to be treated, but it is likely that Ole will have to miss the entire upcoming season," - said the press release of the Manchester club.
This news may mean that the "Red Devils" will only increase their interest in young English star Wayne Rooney. However, this transfer could be completed no earlier than January of next year.
