One of the most important players of the Russian national team - Dmitry Bulykin and Sergey Ignashevich, just 80 days before the European Championship, have lost their playing practice. The Russian Premier League's control and discipline committee disqualified both of these players for five matches.
On Wednesday, the highest meeting of the Russian football league's control and discipline committee took place, where the aforementioned decision was made. The basis of this decision was a scuffle between the two players during Saturday's match between Moscow and Kazan. The conflict between the players took place in the center of the field after the dynamo Bulykin hit the army man Ignashevich with an elbow. The match referee removed both participants of the incident from the field without any hesitation.
For both clubs, the committee's decision, no matter how predictable it was, is not the most pleasant. The decision is especially unpleasant for the Moscow club. The white-blue coach Yaroslav Gzebikas prepared the team's attacking strategies during the off-season, taking into account the presence of such an athletic striker as Bulykin. And the first matches of the championship showed that the striker of the Russian national team does not have a suitable replacement in the club. The game of the dynamo lost its sharpness after his removal.
From a tactical point of view, it will be somewhat easier to replace Artur Jorge in the Premier League. Naturally, replacing such a master as Ignashevich will be extraordinary even for the Portuguese coach, but he still has more options than his colleague from the Czech Republic. Just remember how successfully Elver Rahimich played when he moved from the safety line to defense.
Considering that Ignashevich did not participate in the cup matches with the Uralan club, he will have to miss four more matches. He will face two teams that were considered contenders for medals before the season - Samara and Saint Petersburg. The other two opponents are Kuban and Krasnodar. And immediately after the end of Ignashevich's disqualification, a match with is waiting.
There will also be tough matches with Volgograd, Ramenskoye, Moscow, Yaroslavl, and Kazan.
Both delinquents were almost essential players of the Russian national team last year. Ignashevich's goals in matches against Switzerland and Ireland helped Gazzayev's team win two points. And after a change of national team coaches, Bulykin became a high card of Grigory Yarchev, scoring 4 goals in five matches.
Now, the two main players of Yarchev's team, just a month before the European Championship in Portugal, have lost their playing practice for almost a month.
For the second year in a row, the start of the Russian championship is accompanied by serious disqualifications. In the second round of the 2003 season, the Russian national team goalkeeper Sergei Ovchinnikov was disqualified for five matches. This ended sadly for both the club and the national team. "Loko" started the season poorly and could not return to form for a long time, while the national team lost to Georgia and Albania. Of course, this is not related solely to this disqualification, but this fact contributed. The lack of playing practice for the field players is no less disastrous than for the goalkeeper. Russian football fans can only regret that the leadership of the Premier League decided that they cannot compromise their principles.
