The disciplinary committee of the Italian Football Federation yesterday considered 40 complaints. Thirty-three individuals and twelve clubs are suspected of participating in bets where the outcome of matches was known in advance.

Suspects are from both "Serie A" and lower leagues. Footballers face financial fines and disqualification from half to three years, while clubs face demotion to a lower league.
