Today marked the start of the first round of the 2004/2005 English Championship ("Premiership"). Having acquired many new football players, the "Bolton" club defeated "Charlton" with a score of 4-1. "Aston Villa" also won at home against "Southampton" footballers with a score of 2-0, while "Newcastle" played a draw with "Middlesbrough".

It is worth mentioning that even five matches, including the opening match between "Spurs" and "Liverpool", ended in a draw 1-1.
