It has been confirmed that forward El Hadji Diouf is being loaned out to the team for a year.
The Senegalese player did not impress the "Reds" new coach Rafa Benitez and was told to look for a new team.
Diouf has been linked with a Championship team in England and a team in Spain, but the Senegal national team forward chose "Bolton".
"El Hadji Diouf really wanted to join Bolton manager Sam Allardyce. They fought very hard for the Senegalese player and managed to loan him out." - said Diouf's agent Alexander Grouet.
