For the 27-year-old forward, Ostrava's club should receive 1.5 million euros. Heinz particularly raised his value at Euro 2004 tournament, where he scored a winning goal in the match against Latvia and sent a great penalty kick into Oliver Kahn's goal in the match against Germany.
In Germany, Heinz has already played three seasons, during which he spent one season on loan to Bielefeld's team. However, having scored only five goals in 66 league matches, he returned home and helped "Banik" become the Czech champion with 19 goals.
At "Gladbach" club, Heinz will join three other Czech players - Milan Fukal, Ivo Ulich and Vaclav Sverkos.
