Club defender Arjen Robben will be out for another six weeks due to injury. The player has a broken foot bone.
The 20-year-old defender arrived in England this summer for over 12 million pounds. He sustained the injury in a friendly match in July, which the English won 3-0.
Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho said: "He broke a small bone in his foot. I won't give him a time limit to recover, as I don't want to rush him."
The young Dutchman played in this year's European Championship, where he was one of the main players for the Dutch national team.
