Since all 32 clubs playing in the UEFA Champions League group stage are already known, today in Monaco at 17:00, the draw will begin to select teams for eight groups.
According to the UEFA coefficients earned for achievements in European cup tournaments over the past five years combined with the country's coefficient, clubs are divided into four pots - they will determine potential opponents.
Last season's winner, "Porto" with Edgaras Jankauskas, immediately secured a spot in the first pot, while the finalist "Monaco" is only in the third pot. Meanwhile, David Semberas' "CSKA" club is last in terms of coefficient and placed in the fourth pot.
The groups will be marked with letters from A to H. Clubs from the same country or the same pot cannot be placed in the same group.
