Today Monaco drew lots for the 2004/2005 UEFA Champions League season group stage, dividing 32 clubs into 8 groups of four each.
Last season's winner "Porto" will begin their title defense in Group H, where they will compete with "Chelsea", "PSG", and Moscow's "CSKA" with Deivid Šemberas. The runner-up "Monaco" will play in Group A alongside semi-finalist "Deportivo", as well as "Liverpool" and "Olympiacos".
In Group G, the champions of Spain, Germany, and Belgium - "Valencia", "Werder", "Anderlecht", and ambitious Italy's "Inter" will face off. England's unbeaten "Arsenal" will face Raimondas Žutautas's "Panathinaikos", "PSV", and "Rosenborg" in Group E.
Italy's strongest club "Milan" will play against "Barcelona", "Celtic", and "Shakhtar"; while star-studded "Real" awaits "Roma", "Bayer", and "Dinamo" in Group B.
