The new head coach of the French national team, Raymond Domenech, announced the list of 20 players who will represent their country in the World Cup qualifying matches against Israel and the Faroe Islands.
Domenech hopes to earn the maximum number of points in these matches and has invited six players from the English Premier League to the team. The seventh player from the English team we can consider is Patrick Vieira, who belongs to Arsenal, but currently plays for Barcelona.
The team also includes the new captain, Patrick Vieira, despite not having played since his future at Arsenal was questioned. The player has also suffered a foot injury.
