Rudi Völler to "Roma"? © EuroFootball.com

AS representatives announced that the team has made an offer to Rudi Voller to become the team's coach.

According to the team, Voller is a former player of "Roma" and would now be able to properly replace Cesare Prandelli who is leaving the team.

Prandelli officially asked the club on Friday to allow him to resign from the position of head coach, as he cannot dedicate as much time to the team due to family reasons.

Voller stepped down from his role as the coach of the German national team after this year's European Championship and currently is not coaching any club.

"For now, I don't know anything about Prandelli," Voller told the Italian sports newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport. "I need time to be able to make this important decision."

"Leverkusen has also made me an offer to become their representative, so I have not yet decided what kind of work I would like."

"Roma" is offering Voller a one-year contract, with the possibility of becoming the official club representative after a year, which could help attract him to the team.
