French national team goalkeeper Sebastien Frey confirmed that he will stay at Parma for another season.
This summer, promising goalkeepers were interested in clubs like those in London, but the player decided that there is no reason for him to leave Parma.
"Many famous clubs were interested in me this summer," Sebastien Frey said on the club's official website.
"But Parma is a place where I feel very good. Not only that, last season we finished in a high fifth position, so why should I leave this club?"
"The team needs me. They asked me to stay and I agreed without hesitation," the goalkeeper continued. "I am proud of my team, which, despite having very serious financial problems, not only managed to survive last season, but was also one of the strongest teams in Serie A."
