In the first Bundesliga of Germany on Sunday, two matches of the third round took place with quite unexpected results.
The defending champion "Werder" from Bremen had to admit the superiority of the "Wolfsburg" club at home. The visitors took the lead after two precise strikes at the beginning of the second half, and although Miroslav Klose softened the result, it did not save "Werder" from their first loss this season.
In the match against "Hannover," victory slipped out of the hands of Dortmund's "Borussia" team in the last seconds, in front of 74,000 spectators, after allowing an equalizing goal from Per Mertesacker following a corner kick.
