Italian national team striker signed a three-year contract with Fiorentina club because they sold 50% of the player's contract rights.
25-year-old Miccoli was upset about the purchase of Zlatan Ibrahimovič and asked the Turin club to sell him. Immediately, there were inquiries from his hometown, but in the final minutes, an offer of 7 million euros was made for half of the player's rights.
"We decided to give a gift to the people of Florence. It was a necessary sacrifice to finish our transfer campaign." said Fiorentina vice president Andrea Della Valle.
This is the third player this summer to move from "Old Lady" to the returning Serie-A Florentine club - earlier, Giorgio Chiellini moved to Fiorentina as well.
