The Lithuanian youth (U-21) national team today started the qualifying cycle for the 2006 European Youth Championship - in the first match of the seventh group, they were defeated by their peers from Belgium.
In other group matches, Serbia and Montenegro crushed San Marino 5-0 away. Tomorrow evening, there will be meetings of national teams.
