The head coach of the Czech national team, Karel Brückner, will have to face the World Cup qualifying match against the Netherlands on Wednesday without his main defender Karel Poborsky. The 32-year-old player is complaining of neck pain. This will be the fourth midfielder unable to play in Amsterdam. In addition to K. Poborsky, Pavel Nedved will also be absent at home, who is not only injured but has also ended his career in the national team. Tomáš Galásek and Vladimír Šmicer will miss the match due to injuries.
