Lithuanian national team football is returning to the country's fields after a long break. Today, Lithuania's youth national team (under 21 years old) will play their second qualifying match against peers from San Marino at the Vilnius "Žalgiris" stadium.

In the first match of the European Youth Championship qualification group 7, Lithuanians lost to the home team in Belgium with a score of 0-3. The future opponents from San Marino did not fare any better - they were crushed 0-5 by the team from Serbia and Montenegro.

So these matches will be an opportunity for both teams to recover from their failures, but let's hope that the Lithuanian youth team will perform better in front of their own fans and secure their first victory. However, the poor quality of the pitch may hinder them, as just three days ago a concert took place at the stadium.

The start of the match is at 18:00, those who cannot come to the stadium will be able to watch the match live on Tango TV. The match will be officiated by a refereeing team from Iceland.
