Club defender Kasper Bogelund from Denmark suffered an injury, which will keep him out of the game for about six weeks.
The 23-year-old player, who represented the Danish national team in the European Championship, suffered the injury over the weekend during the World Cup qualifying match against Ukraine. Further examinations revealed that the player suffered a thigh injury and will be unable to play for approximately a month and a half.
"I have had a similar injury before and I know it will take six weeks to recover," said K. Bogelund.
Due to this injury, K. Bogelund will miss the Danish national team's qualifying matches against Turkey and Albania. Without the defender, the "PSV" club will have to make do in their first Champions League matches against [opponent names].
