Senegal national team goalkeeper Khalilou Fadiga has become a player of the club. Formerly without a club, the footballer has signed a one-season contract with the possibility of extending it for a longer period.

The 29-year-old player was near the end of his career. He had serious heart problems, which led to his dismissal from the club. Before coming to Italy, he wore the club's jersey.

Due to his heart problems, K. Fadiga cannot play for the time being. It is expected that he will be able to return to the field after about six weeks.

He is the fourth African player to join "Bolton" this season. Earlier, Senegalese El Hadji Diouf, Tunisian Radhi Jaidi, and Nigerian Blessing Kaku joined the team. All of them have joined the team alongside perhaps the most well-known Nigerian footballer Jay Jay Okocha.
