Čekas Pavelas Nedvedas, who previously stated that he would most likely no longer play for his national team, has now slightly softened his position. He claims that after a break, he may once again wear the Czech national team jersey.
The 32-year-old midfielder motivated his previous decision not to play due to his physical condition. In his opinion, he cannot play at full capacity both in the national team and at club level.
The best Czech football player of this year, P. Nedved, has already missed several national team friendly matches and the first matches of the World Cup qualifying tournament.
"My physical condition is so serious that it does not allow me to play equally well in both the national team and Juventus club," said P. Nedved. "That's why I decided to play only for the club. I never said that I'm ending my international career, and if I decided to take a break, it's only for physical reasons."
