Remaining Teams Start in the Champions League in March © EuroFootball.com

Yesterday the most prestigious European football tournament - UEFA Champions League - started. Eight matches were played in four groups. Today, the teams from the remaining four groups (A, B, C, and D) begin their battles.

In Group A, last season's Champions League finalist will start their journey across Europe. Today the French team will face Rafael Benitez's team, who helped win the UEFA Cup and the Spanish championship last season. In the other matches of this group, two more teams will compete.

Group B awaits an equally intriguing match - a rematch of the 2002 UEFA Champions League final between Leverkusen and Madrid. Meanwhile, Edgaras Cesnauskas' team will try to resist the home team Roma with honor.

The central match of Group C this evening is Ajax vs Juventus. It is not only a clash between two powerful opponents but also a big test for Juventus' newcomer Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who just left Ajax this summer. In this group, Bayern Munich and Tel Aviv are also competing.

The central match in Group D will take place in Lyon. The home team will host a team with few injuries. In another match, the two underdog teams of the tournament - Prague and Istanbul - will clash.
