Argentinian Football Federation announces that Carlos Bianchi has refused to coach the national team. This job was offered to him after the unexpected departure of Marcelo Bielsa.
After M. Bielsa left his position on Tuesday, federation president Julias Grondona stated that he would like to see C. Bianchi as the new coach. Unfortunately, just a few hours later, J. Grondona announced that C. Bianchi rejected the offer due to personal reasons.
The most realistic option to fill the still vacant coaching position is now considered to be former coach of the Argentinian youth national team, Jose Pekerman.
