Club defender Rio Ferdinand will be able to return to the field on Monday. The 25-year-old player was disqualified for eight months for missing a doping test.
There were doubts whether the £30 million worth R. Ferdinand would be physically ready to return to professional football, but the player himself claimed that he should not have any problems.
"I intend to make amends for my mistake with good performance," said R. Ferdinand. "I trained harder than ever and I believe I will not disappoint the team."
The player also said that he hasn't rested for so long since he was 16. According to him, this could even be beneficial. "Man Utd" team defender will be able to enter the field in Monday's "Premier" league match with the club.
