Postponed 24th round match between "Bologna" and Rome's "Lazio". On March 7th, due to heavy snowfall covering the Dall'Ara stadium in Bologna, it was decided to move the match to the 25th of the same month.

At the beginning of the match, "Lazio" put pressure on their opponents and created several opportunities. In the 21st minute, the linesman made a very questionable decision by calling an offside on Simone Inzaghi, who had already run past the goalkeeper.

Seeing that his team could not do anything, "Bologna" coach Carlo Mazzone made a substitution. This changed the game slightly, and "Bologna" took the lead in the 36th minute when Signor's shot deflected off Stamo into the goal.

The hosts only led for 4 minutes, as Fiore took advantage of an opportunity and equalized the score. In the second half, "Lazio" continued to squander numerous chances, while "Bologna" scored again when Amoroso's shot deflected straight to the goalkeeper.

In the 78th minute, "Lazio's" situation became even more complicated when Siniša Mihajlovič was sent off the field. Nevertheless, the visitors did not give up and continued to press their opponents, but excellent goalkeeping from Pagliuco saved "Bologna".
