The team player Steven Gerrard will miss two months of games due to a foot injury sustained during a "Premier" league match in England.
The English national team defender started limping with five minutes left before the end of the first half. A medical examination was performed this morning, after which it was revealed that the footballer injured his left foot.
"There was nothing around me. Xabi Alonso passed the ball to me, I put my foot on the grass and turned, and then I heard a crack." - said S. Gerrard.
S. Gerrard will be forced to miss the World Cup qualifying matches against Wales and Azerbaijan taking place next month, as well as the Champions League match against Deportivo La Coruna.
