This Saturday, nine matches of the French "Ligue 1" championship 8th round were played. One match will be played today - at the "De la Beaujoire" stadium, and will meet and teams.

The capital's club, "P.S.G", secured their first victory in the championship by beating "Strasbourg" 1-0. The only goal of the match was scored by Pedro Pauleta of "P.S.G" in the 79th minute.

After three consecutive defeats, another pre-season favorite club, "Marseille", finally secured a victory by beating "Bastia" 1-0.

In the championship, "Nice" club with Edgaras Jankauskas also started to perform successfully. This time, Nice beat "Rennes" 2-0, with the Lithuanian earning a penalty in the 36th minute, which was successfully converted.
