Former French national team goalkeeper Youri Djorkaeff will play in the English Premier League until January, for a team with which the player has signed a short-term contract.
The 36-year-old Djorkaeff almost signed a contract last week, but did not reach an agreement due to personal reasons.
During the previous season, the Frenchman represented a different team, but did not renew his contract with them after the season ended.
This is the first signing for the new Blackburn coach Mark Hughes. He took over coaching the team at the beginning of this month.
