Claudio Ranieri is trying to squeeze everything he can out of himself to help Chelsea move forward.

Peter Kenyon, to whom club owner Roman Abramovich entrusted the duties of general manager, said finishing the season without at least a silver spot is considered finishing the season unsuccessfully.

Ranieri's coached team will face Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow, knowing that Spurs have a 9-point advantage. Wins are now crucial to get closer to the top spot.

The Italian-born coach says that his desire for victories is what keeps him going.

"Before, I used to be pressured by others, but pressure from people around me isn't important. The most important pressure is the one I create for myself. I want to improve every day. I am happy that Chelsea has achieved so much," the Italian said.

Chelsea's coach simply loves football and after long training sessions with the players, he watches football matches at home to relax.

Football is my passion and it means everything to me.

Claudio Ranieri knows that if his team wins and Arsenal finally loses in their 30th match when they meet on Sunday, then there will be only a 6-point difference remaining with 8 games left.

"We must win, because no matter how the duel between Arsenal and Manchester United ends, it will benefit us," he said.

Juan Sebastian Veron, who has not played for a long time, has started training again after his injury and should help his team achieve their set goal, but goalkeeper Emmanuel Petit is still recovering from a knee injury.
