The crisis of club injuries continues. Forward Samuel Eto'o from Cameroon and defender Ludovic Giuly have been included in the growing list of injured players.
Cameroonian forward Samuel Eto'o has been diagnosed with gastroenteritis, an inflammation of the stomach and small intestine. Due to this illness, which struck the player in his native country, the 23-year-old will not play for about a week. Currently, he is being treated in a hospital in France.
Meanwhile, French legionnaire Ludovic Giuly pulled a thigh muscle. Due to this injury, he will not appear on the field for about two weeks.
Among other injured players are defender Edmilson, safeties Xavi and Gabri. They all suffered serious injuries and will not play for about half a year. Another defender, Silvinho, will be out for several more weeks.
