The head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Oleg Blokhin, does not rule out the possibility of including Kyiv's defender Diogo Rincon in the national team if he seriously decides to exchange his Brazilian passport for a Ukrainian one. Recently extended his contract with Kyiv until 2010, the player has the right to do so: the last time he represented Brazil, he was not yet 18 years old.
"If a limit on foreign players is introduced in the Ukrainian championship in the near future, many foreigners playing in these competitions will consider changing their nationality," said Blokhin. "I do not know if Diogo Rincon is ready to become a Ukrainian, but I am not going to refuse the services of such a qualified player."
