Celebrating his 27th birthday on Friday, D. Trezeguet dislocated his shoulder on October 3 during an Italian championship match with , which Turin's team won 1-0.

Last week, the French forward, after consulting with the medical staff of "Juventus" team, decided to have surgery to determine the full extent of the injury. Today, the player met with one of the best French specialists, Gilles Walch, who stated that surgery is the best solution. The operation will be performed on October 19 at the Sainte Anne Lumière hospital in Lyon.
