In the second half, the result was sealed by substitute M. Zalayeta, who took advantage of a mistake by defender M. Ferrari and defeated the opponent's goalkeeper. The joy of victory for the hosts was somewhat overshadowed by Emerson's dismissal - the Brazilian received his second yellow card towards the end of the match.
"Juve" secured their seventh victory and maintained a five-point lead over "Milan" while increasing their advantage over other opponents. Meanwhile, "Roma" remains in thirteenth place with 9 points.
