Gianluca Zambrotta extended his contract with Juventus until 2008. This news was confirmed after weeks of rumors that Zambrotta would continue to play in Turin.
"I am happy because my dream was to stay at one of the best clubs in the world - Juventus," the Italian player, who recently recovered from an injury, says he is ready to play.
"I feel good and I am ready to help Juventus, as well as to win the European Championship with the national team," Zambrotta said.
Juventus manager Luciano Moggi is delighted that a player like Zambrotta will remain at the club.
