Former Bayern Munich striker Giovane Elber has confirmed that he would like to return to Germany and hinted that if he received an offer from a Berlin club, he would accept it.
Despite helping the club defend their champion title last season, the Brazilian struggled to secure a spot in the starting lineup and also suffered a serious injury. As a result, Elber wants to leave France and return to Germany.
"I would agree to play for Hertha club. Hey Dieter, give me a call," the striker addressed the coach, not hiding his desire to return to Germany.
Hertha club officials confirmed their intention to strengthen the attack during the winter transfer window. Currently, the capital club is sharing 9-11th place in the Bundesliga with fourteen points.
