Round 14: "Lyon" continues to play confidently © EuroFootball.com

On Saturday, nine out of ten games of the 14th round of the French "Ligue 1" championship were played. The central match of the round, the tenth game, will be played on Sunday between the teams "Lille" and "Monaco".

In the championship, the team "Lyon", aiming for their fourth consecutive title, continues to lead. Lyon's players easily defeated "Nantes" at home with a score of 2-0 in this round.

Parisian team "P.S.G" suffered another surprising loss. This time, the capital club hopelessly lost to "Bordeaux" with a score of 3-0 and remains in the second half of the tournament table.

Like Bordeaux, with the same margin, "Bastia" triumphed over their opponents, the footballers of the famous French club "Saint-Etienne" who returned to the top division this year after a long break.

Edgaras Jankauskas' team "Nice" still couldn't secure a victory. Nice took the lead after a goal from Jose Cobos in the 16th minute, and despite a red card for "Lens" player Jerome Leroy in the 25th minute, the victory seemed within reach. However, "Lens", even playing with ten men, managed to equalize. The match ended in a 1-1 draw. Edgaras Jankauskas missed the entire game on the field.

The only team in the championship that still hasn't won a game is the newcomer "Istres", who in this round managed to draw 1-1 with "Sochaux", marking their seventh draw this season.
