Blatter: "Jabulani" ball is not suitable for "hit and run" teams (VIDEO) © EuroFootball.com

The FIFA President Sepp Blatter passionately defends the World Cup ball "Jabulani", which has received a barrage of criticism.

Before the tournament, Adidas praised their product as "the roundest ball of all time", but players, especially goalkeepers, didn't spare criticisms for its unpredictable flight trajectory and other issues.

"We listen to what we are being told, but it is still a wonderful ball," Blatter told Australian TV SBS. "Teams that know how to use the ball and keep it on the ground have achieved good results.

"Spain, Germany, the Netherlands - they succeeded, but if you play with a 'kick and run' style, controlling it is challenging."
