One of the biggest stars of the World Cup, the octopus Paul, predicts victory in the final for the Spanish national team, which should overcome the Netherlands.
So far, the octopus living in one of the German aquariums has not made a mistake in these championships - he accurately predicted the outcome of all German matches.
A crowd of people awaited the octopus's decision - from two containers lowered into the water with flags of Spain and the Netherlands, containing food, Paul chose the one marked with the Spanish colors.
Furthermore, in the match for third place, Paul "sees" a victory for Germany against Uruguay.
Interestingly, the octopus jokingly received death threats after correctly predicting Germany's loss to Spain. The president of the latter country then smilingly offered state protection to the octopus.
